When you change your Microsoft account password and you do use that login on multiple PCs – it is likely that the new password will not be recognized. To force the sync you can open a command prompt and run the following command as admin user (local or Microsoft account user):
runas /u:MicrosoftAccount\[my account] cmd.exe
Replace “my account” with your Microsoft account username. You will be prompted to enter your CURRENT Microsoft account password and the two will (finally) sync.
